{Snowy Ski Lodge}: A Palette of Shades of Gray + White

{Shades of Gray + White}

A landscape blanketed with snow has always been magical in my eyes. Especially because I just adore the natural palette of gray and white. And although I'll always be a big fan of big and bold color, there is something very attractive about using a very subdued and monochromatic palette like this one. It's calming, it's enchanting and it's absolutely fitting for a Winter wedding. For this wedding, I imagined a rustic snow covered venue - perhaps an old ski lodge? I imagined simple decor including mason jar tea lights and pinecones.

So what do you think? Are you missing the color in this palette or are you embracing this rustic and subdued look? I happen to love it and think that there is so much potential for a palette like this. Just think of all of the pretty and natural elements you could incorporate into your day. So tell me, who all got hit by that snow storm last week? Do you still have snow? I'm guessing there are a lot of you!
