Dreamy 'I Do's: Shades of Pink + Gray
What's pink and gray and full of sweet and romantic details? I happen to think that this inspiration board is fitting of that description. Anyone else agree? With pretty pink roses blooming throughout, it's not hard to find yourself being swept away into a gorgeous imaginary wedding world. You know the kind? Where brides frolic in meadows and every detail seems flawless?
'Wedding dream world' is a beautiful place to be. Believe me, I've been submerged in a land full of dreamy wedding imagery for almost 5 years now! It's a place where gorgeous images meet gorgeous people. And florals seem flawless. And the gowns? Well, they're the dreamiest gowns you'll ever lay your eyes on. It's a place where attention to detail is paid to every aspect imaginable. It's a place of whimsy and magic. And for those reasons alone, it's hard to not get swept away...

Because it's almost a fantasy. And fantasies are fun. Are they not? But I'm here to tell you a few little secrets that will ultimately save your sanity. Okay? So let's get one thing straight. No wedding will ever be perfect. And sometimes. Brace yourself, my friends... sometimes colors don't end up being the perfect match. And sometimes reality isn't quite as pretty as you imagined. But that's okay, loves. Because the name of the game is not perfection. It's about marrying the one you love. You know that special someone who asked you to spend your entire life with them? And if you're lucky, you might end up with some pretty moments captured on film. Moments that will take your breath away. Moments of love, and laughter. Because those are the most beautiful moments. Am I right?
So what am I trying to say with all of this? Don't get me wrong. I'm not saying to stop dreaming of your perfect wedding day! Dream away, I say! And dream big! And in color! Just lower your expectations a bit. Just a little bit? Because I promise you that you'll be a much happier bride if you do. And a happy bride makes for a beautiful wedding!
