Now Trending: Black + White Done Right
What color palette manages to come across as classic, vintage inspired and all kinds of chic? None other than this black and white look I put together here recently for a very sweet reader of mine. You see, Shannon asked if I could put together a look that embodied timeless beauty. She didn't want to look back at her photos and have color palette remorse. And I totally get it. Some palettes are definitely not the sort that will stand the test of time. And so what did I suggest? Keep it simple, I said. If you go with black and white you really can't go wrong.

Not to mention the fact that you don't have to pull your hair out trying to find the perfect shade of this or that. Not saying this palette is for everyone! But sometimes a return back to simplicity and classic elegance is just what you need. Plus there are just so many gorgeous ways to bring a black and white wedding to life!
Like this sweet and simple wedding cake. There's not much to it, but boy does it pop when placed on that black cake pedestal. Looking for a unique and creative way to let your guests know which seat is theirs? I'm totally swooning over these little chalkboard frames. Anyone else? Oh, and what's not to love about these vintage inspired popcorn bags! I personally had a popcorn bar at our wedding and it was a huge hit!
So tell me... are you a fan of black and white? And if so, tell me what creative ideas you might incorporate to make it yours?
