Rehearsal Dinner | Shades of Blue, Yellow + Green
Today is one seriously exciting day over here on The Perfect Palette. Perhaps you heard the news? In addition to all of the pretty palettes we feature each week, we decided that it might be fun (and helpful to you guys) to start sharing some real weddings and styled shoots. You know, because sometimes it's just nice to be able to see how real couples actually used color to bring their weddings to life.
And so that brings us to today's pretty post! This my dears, is Charlotte and Carrigan's rehearsal dinner. Charlotte chose deep blue, bright yellow, and luscious green as her wedding colors long before Pantone announced it's top colors for Spring, 2014. But when Dazzling Blue was named as the top Pantone color for next Spring, Charlotte knew right away that her color palette was on the right track!
Now, even though these two are travelers at heart, these love birds both knew that they wanted to tie the knot a little closer to their hometowns in Tennessee. And when Charlotte found The Blue Room which featured this gorgeous blue shade so perfectly, she knew instantly that it was the perfect place to hold their rehearsal dinner. The eclectic Blue Room set the tone for the entire wedding and provided an ultra cool atmosphere with a mix of rustic and urban-chic touches. So absolutely gorgeous. Am I right? I'm loving this beautiful shade of blue and how it perfectly contrasts with this sunshine-filled shade of yellow and these gorgeous green tones. It's definitely an unexpected combination which makes for some seriously pretty eye candy. Square plates, candles of differing heights and colorful lanterns all play off one another creating a perfect harmony. And those tree slices? Aren't those just divine? It's easy to see that these travel-lovers have adopted an eclectic style. Most likely picked up along their journeys together around the world.
Charlotte and Carrigan's intimate ceremony and reception were held on the following day in downtown Franklin, Tennessee. Where their adventures will take them next, they do not know. But wherever they travel, Carrigan and Charlotte know their home will always be found in the rolling hills of Tennessee. Thanks to everyone who made this beautiful rehearsal dinner come to life.
