Top 10 Wedding Colors for Spring 2014
Being that it's the last day of the 2013 I have to admit that I've really started thinking to the future and about what's to come in 2014! Now, if you've been following my blog for any length of time then you probably know that I publish a couple of Top 10 lists which consist of the most popular and sought after colors of the season. So today I thought what better day to announce the top 10 wedding colors for Spring, 2014 than now? I know, I know, it's almost too exciting for words. So without further ado, here's your Top 10 Wedding Colors for Spring, 2014 (chosen by yours truly).
Now if you've been engaged for a while or if you're a wedding pro of any kind than you probably have been witness to the Mint and Blush Pink craze that has been sweeping the industry. And although this dazzling duo has been trending for 2013, they're surely not going anywhere in the new year. If anything, they're popularity is only going to increase! And pink and mint together? Yeah, be prepared to see a lot more of that.
One color that may or may not come as a surprise to you is Rose Gold. This year we surely saw a big influx of popularity when it comes to all things Glittery Gold. And while gold will surely increase in popularity, so will Rose Gold. Be prepared to see Rose Gold used just the way that gold and silver are used today in weddings.
Coral is another big color for 2014. And I'm hoping you can see why? It's vibrant, festive and just the sort of color perfect for your upcoming Spring soiree. Looking for an equally fun hue to pair it with? Why not consider a Pale Yellow or even color like Grayed Jade. Both gorgeous colors that we'll be seeing a lot more of in the new year!
A couple of shades of blue made it into the Top 10 this year including Cerulean and Dusty Blue. Blue has always been and will always be a top color for weddings, but I think this year we're going to see some more interesting shade selections which of course I'm loving.
And finally, rounding out this year's Top 10 Wedding Colors for Spring, 2014, we have Orchid which was actually just named the Color of the Year for 2014 by none other than our dear friends over at Pantone! Of course I loved this announcement since this was the color I chose last year as the #1 Color for Weddings in 2012! And yes, I'm totally excited to see that what's hot for weddings is also hot in fashion too! Keep your eyes peeled for more of this hue in the new year. Oh, and be sure to stay tuned because my announcement of the #1 Wedding Color for 2014 is coming soon.
So what do you think about the Top 10? Did any of your favorites make the cut? Or maybe there were a few colors you thought should have been included? I'd love to hear your thoughts and ideas!
