Styled Shoot: Pretty Paisley for Autumn
I couldn't be more in love with this wedding inspiration shoot from Michelle Leo Events and Amy Lashelle Photography! Believe me, this is the kind of shoot that will have you wanting to plan a trip to the mountains this season.
But it's not what you'd expect. You won't see bright, bold colors in the design. Instead, Michelle Leo Events has put together a palette filled with calming colors like these soft blue and brown shades. But that's not to say that there aren't beautiful Autumn colors featured in this shoot! Fiery yellows and and oranges can be seen in the changing leaves and they provide the perfect contrast to this softer scheme.

From the Designer, "I wanted to take advantage of the open country this place has to offer, the bright and vibrant colors of Fall that engulf the space, and the coziness of it all. That being said, I didn’t want to design a traditional “Fall Harvest” looking tablescape. I wanted to provide a softer color palette that wouldn’t compete with the landscape’s vivid colors."
More from the designer, "I also wanted to infuse the comforts of home throughout the design. From chunky wooden candlesticks to simple plates and rustic flatware, I wanted this look demonstrate style and comfort. Overall, I wanted to provide brides with some cozy Fall inspiration that was a bit different from the traditional Fall colors."
The use of paisley’s can be seen throughout this design as well. You'll see it pop up in the table runners, the paper good products, and the decorative fondant lace on the cake. So creative, if you ask me. In addition to the table setting, I can't go without mentioning these cozy treats. We all know that warm drinks are a must on those crisp Fall days, so I love how Michelle incorporated hot cocoa complete with chunky mugs, whip cream and cinnamon sticks!
Michelle didn't stop there though! Yogurt covered almonds, anyone? Yes, please. I don't mind if I do! Big hugs to everyone who made this shoot come to life! It's a great example of using non-traditional colors for the season. And I'm really blown away by the finished look!
