Engagement Party Inspiration by Lovelyfest Events
If you've been reading my blog for any length of time then you probably are aware that I sort of have a thing for bright, bold color palettes. Throw in some modern styling, a healthy dose of sparkle and some Kate Spade inspired details? And well, this is the kind of engagement party that I would have loved to have been invited to.
With design and styling by Lovelyfest Events and photography by Cameron Ingalls, just one look and it's easy to see that so much heart was put into styling this shoot. Such a fun and festive look and one that also feels surprisingly intimate. With only six guests, this is the kind of setting that makes sharing your happy news with those closest to you, so sweet and so sentimental. Plus it's a look that can easily be recreated in your very own dining room.
Using the Pantone Color of the Year, Lovelyfest Events created their color palette by mixing Radiant Orchid with touches of lavender, black & white stripes, pinks, golds and yellows. Mismatched Kate Spade dishes and glassware were paired with offset gold flatware and glittered taper candles to create a decidedly chic and inviting space.
From the designer, "Placed center stage is a hanging gold frame and acrylic insert written with their love story and adorned with beautiful gold garland, tissue and gold foil paper flowers. Each place setting has a custom acrylic place card with fun calligraphy bringing the radiant orchid and pink colors to each setting. An acrylic and gold frame was placed on the table letting all the guests know what's on the menu for dinner."
"Hand dyed coral napkins with ball fringe make the setting inviting and add a fun element. For dessert, homemade kettle corn was on the menu! A custom sign stating"he 'popped' the question" and hand written favor bags said "she said yes!" is a fun play on words to a simple dessert and brings in the engagement theme. Set on a crisp white and gold tray table, this popcorn dessert station is the perfect ending to a small gathering!"
