Radiant Orchid, Copper + Blush: Wedding Color Inspiration
So — I'm a huge believer that an entire design concept can be inspired by one idea. And yesterday, while I was pinning, I happened upon this stunning, hand painted beauty by Cake Ink! And yep! You guessed it! It was love at first sight. I fell hard, you guys. And so before I knew it, I found myself pulling together an entire board full of ideas that would work with a color palette like this one.
Shades of orchid and soft pinks look pretty amazing with metallics like copper. Wouldn't you agree? Throw in some fun patterns like florals, and stripes, and you'll have yourself a look that's wedding-ready.
I really love this bridesmaid dress and how versatile it is. Can you believe that it can be worn up to 15 different ways? I imagined these soft pink, flowy bridesmaid dresses with shimmery accessories like these sparkle studs.
Wedding Cake: Cake Ink // Bridesmaid Dress // Chargers: Sur La Table // Napkins: World Market // Striped Candles: World Market // Floral Candle Holder: Hayneedle // Candle Holders: World Market // Small Vases: Nordstrom // Agate Slices: World Market // Chairs: World Market // Earrings: World Market // Striped Candles: World Market
And for the tables? I'm imagining bright and bold florals paired with these striped metallic taper candles. And then of course I just had to find a way to incorporate my latest obsession — which would be agate slices! These ones sure are pretty. And just think of all the creative things you could do with them! Coasters, escort cards, place cards... just add some pretty calligraphy and you'll have a look that's uniquely yours.
I rounded out this look with some copper chargers and some coordinating candle holders. And then I found these chairs! Ohhh, yes. I can totally see it now. I seriously think I might have to make this vision board come to life. Over to you — What about this look are you liking? And what ideas would you incorporate to make it yours?
