Electric Love Engagement Inspiration
Hoopla! Events & Color Pop Events sent over this styled engagement shoot, I just knew that I had to share it! Colorful, creative, and oh-so inspiring, this darling duo really had me at hello.
From the designers, "We knew that we wanted to include Valentine’s Day into the mix without it seeming stereotypical. It’s always in our nature to take it to another level. That’s how our vision led us to “Electric Love” -- a bold, quirky science concept, using a pink, red, yellow and orange color palette in the design elements."
When my friends from From the designers, "We knew that we wanted to include Valentine’s Day into the mix without it seeming stereotypical. It’s always in our nature to take it to another level. That’s how our vision led us to “Electric Love” -- a bold, quirky science concept, using a pink, red, yellow and orange color palette in the design elements."
The entire concept was tied together brilliantly with the colorfully painted “Edison” light bulbs, industrial cage lanterns, lamp shades and patent electric prints.
"Helsinki Hudson known for its killer live shows, graciously allowed us to shoot at their eclectic vintage/industrial venue. The shoot was photographed by the ever so creative Rachel Collet Photography. While NST Pictures filmed the love in motion of our models who ironically, used to date and had awesome on-camera chemistry." Oh my goodness! They used to date! The chemistry is evident, if you ask me!

Some of my favorite details include the bold, in-your-face save the date design created by Sandra Picco Design. And these darling dresses? Yep, those are definitely some of my faves as well! Fun and flirty styles from Rent the Runway were chosen and complemented by sparkly statement jewelry. Both models’ hair and makeup were done by Luxe Salon and Spa which had them looking and feeling fabulous.
And since no Valentine’s Day would be complete without flowers, the talented Flowerkraut worked their magic by actually incorporating florals right onto the hanging frame installation which made for such a romantic contrast.
I don't know about you, but I'm so in love with this entire scene. It's a look that's full of creative details. Plus I just love the fact that the concept could work for any couple that loves all things science, industrial, or just loves bold and colorful inspiration! Virtual high fives to everyone who had a part in making this beautiful shoot come to life!
