Coastal Chic Wedding Inspiration with The American Wedding
The American Wedding! And so when I was told that I would have the opportunity to showcase some of the gorgeous pieces from their beautiful seaside inspired collection, I was really excited to get to work!
Recently, I received an invitation to style a soirée for one of my all time favorite stationery design companies,
And guess what? Today is the day that I get to share! And so with a "Coastal Chic" theme in mind, I was off to the drawing board. For our seaside inspired table, I thought a palette of muted blues and greens was just what we needed. And the patio at Kimball Hall in Roswell, Georgia? What a perfect spot it made to bring this styled shoot to life!
I mixed in some ivory and white with a variety of wood tones, and I found myself somewhere in between coastal and chic. And lucky for me, Lauren of Lauren Rae Photography was there to capture it all!
Bre Garvin from Juli Vaughn Designs did all of the floral design for this editorial. And goodness! I can't say enough about what an amazing job she did! Bre was so creative with her floral design and I love how she incorporated a combination of spray roses, air plants hydrangeas, ranunculus, silver tree protea, delphiniums, and succulents. Such a perfect mix of muted tones and gorgeous textures.
To add a bit of ambiance, lanterns were strung from the trellis. And as the sun was setting, candlelight flickered and almost danced above the tabletop making the entire scene feel all the more special.
For the wedding stationery, I chose for this sophisticated starfish stationery design. Such a fitting design for any beachfront or coastal wedding venue.
And in keeping with my love for this romantic coastal vibe, I decided that it was only fitting that we carry this starfish motif throughout the design with coordinating table numbers, favor tags, menus, escort cards, champagne glasses, and coasters.
The table we used was actually an antique store find made from an old vintage door. And I really like how intimate it all felt with seating for four.
Looking for a seaside inspired favor idea? Why not send your guests home with mini bottles of sea salts? I had a lot of fun dressing these little bottles up! Some personalized favor tags, and a bit of twine was all we needed. Are these not the cutest?
Aren't these personalized koozies the cutest? So super fun, if you ask me. And definitely a fun favor that your guests will love.
It was such a pleasure to work alongside some of my favorite Atlanta area wedding pros. And the result? Something straight out of a dream, really. I mean? A wedding redo is sounding seriously awesome right about now. Complete with beachy hues, a flowy tulle gown, and all kinds of seaside goodness.
