Eclectic Vintage Wedding Inspiration
Belle Grey Events and photography by Sarah Harper Photography, I'm instantly inspired by this colorful fête.
A chic garden party that has the perfect mix of whimsy and femininity? Yes, please! With concept, styling, and floral design by
From the designer, "While I am drawn to all things dainty, we wanted to do a bit of a rustic themed shoot. We also liked the idea of having a retro styled model to play the host. We wanted to capture strong image content and colorful, airy images."
"The shoot concept was designed around a fabulously rustic space I stumbled across during my early morning walk. Situated in the heart of Laurel, Maryland, snuggled in beautiful surroundings— The Community of Christ Church— a perfect location full of character and imagination for a styled shoot. We fell in love with the pine tree in the center of the yard and all the natural elements in outdoor space."
More from the designer, "During this styled photoshoot vintage china was used alongside a beautiful vintage tea set which featured a beautiful fuchsia and purple floral print. Everything was kept in shades of fuchsia, turquoise and purple."
"I also used glass dessert bowls as succulent plant vases. Then I spray painted the vases, plates, and horse figurines to give it the captivating finish. The colorful floral arrangements that were used during the shoot were custom designed. Prior to the shoot there were hours of thrift store shopping for decorations."
Goodness! Where do I start? I love the little golden figurines that were displayed on each place setting. And what's not to love about this mix of eclectic and vintage styling? Definitely a bit edgy. Not to mention fun and fabulous!

Oh, and can we all just talk about these cakes? Flavor Cupcakery whipped up the most beautiful assortment of cakes and french macarons for the creative dessert table. Much love to the amazing vendors who brought this vision to life and especially the talented Sarah Harper Photography for capturing it all.
