St. Patrick’s Day — with it's vivid greens and it's shimmery golds has always been a favorite color combination for me. Adore these colors too and want to find a way to incorporate these colors into your event design in a way that's sophisticated and elegant?
Well, get excited because this dream team of wedding pros featuring florals and design by
Juli Vaughn Designs and coordination by
Color Pop Events — is just bursting at the seams with inspiration! And
lucky for us,
Sarah Esther Photography was there to capture all of the pretty!
From the event designer, "The luck of the Irish sometimes extends to vintage green beaded dresses — at least that’s what makeup artist
Andrea Carter experienced the day she found the dress that inspired this shoot."
"Tucked in between a mound of 80's prom dresses at an antique store, she spotted it's sparkly sleeve and fell in love immediately."
"Much like finding “the dress” and being excited to plan your wedding day a
s soon as Andrea showed it to me..."
"...I knew we had to give it a second day in the spotlight as a star in a St. Patrick’s Day inspired wedding shoot."
"And what Irish-inspired wedding is complete without a pub, a gorgeous redhead, and plenty of Guinness (in ice cream float form)?"
"We also threw in a brunch reception with a pancake “cake”, a hand drawn Celtic knot, and a family crest."
"...plus sparkly custom jewelry, and a letterpress invitation suite that could turn anyone green with envy."
I mean, how gorgeous are these blooms, y'all?
So super pretty, if you ask me!
But this dress — gah! I'm just so in love!
Such a bright color palette but what makes it unique is this dark and moody space...
Ring boxes from The Mrs. Box always add a touch of unexpected color!
Oh, and did someone mention french toast?
Plus can we just talk about this stationery suite designed by My Darlin'? Swoon.
It's just all so dreamy, so elegant, so beautiful...
This leafy pattern is really eye catching and oh-so pretty!
And this warm candlelight? Such ambiance.
And what's not to love about these tiny wreaths?
I told you we were lucky that Sarah Esther Photography was there to capture all the pretty! Such an exquisite example of a St. Patrick's Day inspired wedding.
And it just goes to show that you don't have to incorporate shamrocks, and pots of gold to celebrate the Irish. So beautifully executed and designed! Lots of love to the fabulous pros who brought this lucky little soirée to life!
