9 Color Inspiring Wedding Cakes
Happy happy day, color lovers! Today I've handpicked a few of my favorite wedding cakes for this fun little roundup. Because I don't know about you, but sometimes I find it easiest to imagine potential color palettes when I actually see them being used in a wedding. Makes sense, right?
I'm loving how these cake designers used color to bring these cakes to life. One tier, two tier, three tier or four, one thing is for sure... your wedding cake is definitely an opportunity to incorporate a little color. Long gone are the days when wedding cakes have to be all white.
Admittedly, the cake tasting and design consultation for our wedding cake was actually one of my favorite pre-wedding moments. I came prepared with multiple photos, and color ideas (of course) and our baker really made us feel as if we were a part of the creative process.
As you can see, I'm sort of drawn to these modern looking cakes. Stripes, polka dots, floral accents - you name it. I love it! I don't think it's any secret that my taste leans heavily towards these vivid and punchy looks.
Because the way I see it, your wedding cake is a little work of art. You can easily tie in elements that you might be using on your tables or otherwise. For instance - are you using copper chargers under the china? Well, why not incorporate a copper motif right onto your cake to coordinate?
