Aztec Inspired Boho Wedding Ideas with Ambiance Galore
Primrose Floral & Event Design, and gorgeous captures by Dear Gray Photography — there's just so much to swoon over here. So let's get into it, shall we?
From the designer, "we began with a concept idea of a bohemian Aztec elopement — keeping it very intimate between the bride and groom."
"We wanted to create a casual feel, and we did so by opting for a floor table and pillow seating with lots of various textures — think brass, colored glass, faux fur, wood, wicker."
"For the florals we opted for blooms in muted tones featuring pops of cornflower blue, grey, purple, and black. We also added terra cotta colored roses to add warmth and greenery to compliment the venue's colors."
"We definitely wanted to incorporate elements with bold Aztec and geometric patterns in black, gold, greens to make the florals pop."
Floor seating was set up under the pergola which created such an
intimate and casual setting for the two bohemian
lovebirds!
And I just love the fact that this styled shoot incorporates so many amazing handmade elements!
The ambiance was truly unmatched, with candles galore...
I just adore the patterned linens they chose to use, so very eye catching! And what's not to love about those black taper candles?
From the floral designer, "We created the bridal bouquet with an organic and wild feel while letting the green foliage fall nicely with the distinctive blooms that were chosen."
And this stationery design? It adds the perfect earthy touch. Wouldn't you agree?
A western style hat was worn by the bride and it was the perfect compliment to her lace boho wedding dress!
A closer look at the centerpiece reveals peasant feathers and protea.
And what's not to love about this gorgeous place setting?
Such a gorgeous bouquet designed by Primrose Floral & Event Design! Swoon.
And how great is this western style, boho-inspired attire?
So obsessed with these metallic finishes, those vibrant reds, and these pops of jet black.
And can we just talk about how lovely our bride's hair looks? A hairpiece by Danani Handmade Adornments made it all the prettier!
As the night went on, our bride was serenaded by her love.
While a simple, one tier wedding cake designed by Take the Cake was displayed under the twinkly star lanterns...
...and what a beautiful scene it was!
Stationery designed by Seniman Calligraphy made a lovely statement!
And can we just talk about the detailing on this gown provided by The Find Bridal?
And The Salvage Snob provided the prettiest vintage pieces...
Located in sunny, tropical Miami, The Curtiss Mansion (a 87-year-old historic pueblo-style home) proved to be the perfect venue for bringing this vision to life...
And who could refuse a closer look at this place setting and wedding gown? Yes, please!
More from the team, "we immediately knew this was the gown for this
shoot! This amazing Christos Costarellos gown had the perfect lace detailing and
draped remarkably on her figure."
