A Garden Gala with Hydrangea & Watercolor Details
Margaret River’s Secret Garden. The garden, which blends classical European style with the beautiful Australian bush, was the perfect setting for this sweet styled shoot and is certainly an idyllic location for an intimate wedding.
Nestled in the Peppermint Forest alongside the Wilyabrup Brook lies the breath-taking grounds of
Willow Lane Creative did an amazing job with the concept, design, florals, and styling and it's a good thing that Liesl Cheney Photography because she did such a beautiful job capturing all of these darling details.

The styling of the shoot was soft and romantic, with dreamy watercolors, warm wood tones, hints of gold and touches of French provincial.
They played with a color palette of lavender, peach and lemon, incorporating these items into the styling and cake table.
One of my favors parts of the shoot was a secret hydrangea garden hidden within the Secret Garden.
The hydrangea plants were so tall and completely surrounded the table!
And these florals? Can I just hop into this scene and stay awhile? Please and thank you!
This shoot was originally planned for a lavender farm in SW WA, however an unusually warm summer meant the lavender was harvested just before the shoot.
With less than 3 weeks to spare and over the Christmas break, this dream team decided to change the concept and venue to a romantic garden theme...
... and secured the stunning Secret Garden in Margaret River.
And the result? So dreamy, (and meant to be) if you ask me!
The floral crown is one of my favorite details from this shoot.
Rich, chocolatey chiavari chairs added a nice touch, upscale feel to this garden scene...
And I just adore these lavender and pink taper candles.
Rose gold vases added a lovely metallic touch...
And these hydrangeas? Swoon.
Most of all, I love, love, love these colors!
Such an exquisite atmosphere with these candles and this simple archway.
And I just love these mini, modern style votive candles.
And what a timeless wedding gown this is with it's simple silhouette and fabulous detailing...

Such an amazing display of talent here with this team of wedding vendors.
And can this hand painted wedding cake be any prettier?
I think not! Details galore, have my heart skipping a beat over here...
And how lovely is this bride? Her makeup! That floral crown! This gown!
Gold flatware for the win! And what's not to love about homemade favors!?
Lush, textural, and all kinds of romantic, this wedding bouquet is something else!
And a close up on the cake shows all the colorful detailing that went into this design.
Lawn games, anyone?
I also can't go without mentioning my love for these sweet macarons.
The concept of a romantic garden theme wedding inspiration shoot arose from this team's love for Summer and it's easy to see that with just one look.
Because, I mean, who doesn’t love hot days, balmy nights, and the amazing seasonal produce that summer has to offer?
Stationery by Tracy Leigh Designs makes a lovely statement and I just love this simple napkin presentation that we're seeing here.
Cocktail, anyone?
And these little jars of homemade peach and lavender jam? Lemon butter and lemon marmalade? Ahh, I'm in love!
Such a lovely braided style. Very boho-chic.
Such a beautiful makeup application by The Pretty Parlour.
Pops of purple bougainvillea complemented the billowy silk lavender table runner and hand frayed silk ribbon.
And wow! This vivid color, you guys!

Such a lovely place to say, "I do."
And I think it's safe to say that Willow Lane Creative and team knocked it out of the park on this one!
