Lush Garden Dreams Wedding Editorial
With stunning captures by Jasmine Star and the most exquisite event design and styling + by Harmony Creative Studio today's styled wedding editorial is seriously the stuff that wedding dreams are made of!
From the designer, "working with different textures and pops of pastel and muted colors, this garden editorial was inspired by the grand lady of wedding flowers — the rose. Paired with watercolor brush strokes on the cake and paper goods, we featured the rose in new and beautiful ways.
"We were truly fortunate to have the amazing Jasmine Star on hand to capture the beauty of the courtyard of Vibiana in Downtown Los Angeles."
"While I'm sure many are familiar with the fabulous interior of the space, the courtyard is also a truly lovely oasis in the city, and the perfect location for our editorial."
"Partnering with the ladies at Smitten on Paper, they took our ideas for the rose and watercolor-influenced paper goods and elevated them in amazing ways."
"As we would any real wedding, we used the suite as a jumping off point for all design aspects."
"You can see brushstrokes in the gorgeous trio of cakes from Andrea at Superfine Bakery..."
"...embroidered flowers in the linens from La Tavola, floral patterns and sublime colored glassware from Dish Wish, and of course beautiful florals incorporating many different types of roses from floral designer, Enchanted Garden Floral Design."
"One of my favorite parts of the shoot is the subtle ‘petals’ on the bottom of the wedding dress from Rmine, it helped pull the theme loosely even into the attire."
"The loose Hollywood wave for our model's hair and rosy lip from Kacee Geoffroy were an excellent way to make our model shine while not taking away from all the excitement happening at the bottom of the dress."
"At Harmony Creative Studio, we love trying a few fun ideas for some part of each of our editorials."
"For this one we decided to and take advantage of the venue’s natural greenery backdrop and incorporate some real roses into the escort card display, and also tuck some real and paper roses for a pop behind the table."
Two signature drinks were whipped up including, "The Rose" for her which was a mix of gin, mint, cucumber, and rose water...
And "The Thorn," for him which was a mix of bourbon, bitters, rose syrup, and orange...
Cocktail, anyone?
A wedding gown by Rmine Bespoke proved to be the loveliest choice with its statement making skirt.
And what's not to love about this gorgeous place settings by Dish Wish?
Seriously, Superfine Bakery, you outdid yourselves with this beauty of a cake!
