The Wedding Crashers Tour at the Quirk Hotel
Tired of the same old bridal shows that keep popping up in your area? Well, today I'm excited to share a new concept! The Wedding Crasher's Tour is a "Pinterest in Person" interactive wedding planning event that enjoyed its inaugural tour during Winter of 2015 in Richmond, Virginia.
On the tour, couples and their guests were chauffeured between spotlighted wedding venues and had the opportunity to visit in person with event professionals and experience their styles and services first hand!
It's a new and innovative spin on the traditional bridal show experience! One of the exclusive stops on the 2016 tour in February was the Quirk Hotel and lucky for us Jessica Maida Photography was there to capture it all. So let's take a look-see, shall we?
This destination hotel and accommodation is brand new to Richmond and boasts a mid century and artistic vibe. It's the place to be seen and see!
Per Wedding Coordinator Wendy Wyne of Fête Weddings "we were inspired by quirky movie director Wes Anderson and his clever approach to design.
Bursts of bold colors and modern patterns will fill the Quirk Hotel event spaces, showing couples how fun a whimsical wedding can be!
So many inspiring ideas were incorporated into this amazing space.
Blue Bee Cider provided the specialty food items and Maple & Pine took care of the rest of the catering.
Doesn't this look fabulous? Because what's not to love about good food, fabulous florals, and a room filled with industry pros and engaged couples?
A trio of artsy, modern cakes were whipped up by Sweet Fix.
And what's not to love about these colorful ideas?
This mid-century modern architecture made for the loveliest backdrop to these bright, bold wedding ideas.
And how great are these vintage rentals by Paisley & Jade?
Swoon. Because seriously? How amazing are these marbled balloons?
So colorful and absolutely fun, if you ask me!

Well, the Quirk Hotel in Richmond, VA is that and then some!
The Green Flamingo did such an exquisite job with these lush florals.

Everywhere you looked, color could be found.
Oh, and can we just pause for a sec to talk about how fabulous this invitation suite by 'ello Paper is?
