A Vintage Inspired Boho Wedding in New Orleans

Soft neutrals and blush tones are a match made in heaven and this wedding from Lauren Carroll Photography has got us feeling oh-so inspired! With event coordinating by Mise En Place Events and florals Pistil and Stamen, make no mistake about it – this New Orleans wedding is all kinds of fun and fabulous!

From the bride, "I wanted a very effortless look that blended with the vintage bohemian style of the venue and the city of New Orleans itself."

"I found a 'field tones' palette that was both feminine and understated."

Elaborate floral embroidery over fine mesh accentuated the feminine feel of this delicate lace Catherine Deane gown... ...while the tailored bodice flowed into a slim, floor-length skirt with a short train.   More from the bride, "Our wedding day could not have been more perfect! I really wanted the event to capture the laid back yet elegant feeling of New Orleans." "We kept the traditions to a minimum so that our guests could spend their time dancing and enjoying amazing food and drinks.

Race and Religious proved to be the loveliest place to say, "I do!"

"The overcast day and pastel colors of the city highlighted every detail of the wedding styling." "The bridesmaids and I worked hard to find the perfect mix of patterns and textures that were just different enough to mesh perfectly." And we're just loving this mix of blooms and the way they coordinated with the dresses the bridesmaids selected. "Our close friend officiated the ceremony and Chase and I wrote our own vows, it was such a special time and the amount of love under that tent was palpable."

"Directly after the ceremony our band led the party in a Second Line parade, it was such a great way to put a huge exclamation point on the ceremony."

"There are so many joyous faces in the photos of the parade. After enjoying cake and donuts we spent the night on the dance floor, such a magical evening!"

Melissa's Fine Pastries designed a naked cake which was perfectly pretty!
