A Bright + Cheery Southern Soirée
With sweet snaps from Shannon Ford Photography, this love story transcends the Mason-Dixon Line. At a national art conference, a New York City Art Gallery Manager (and our bride to be,) Alexis, was swept off her feet by her dapper Southern beau.
With a wedding in the works for the end of June, this Savannah soiree is all kinds of fun, fabulous, and full of our favorite thing - color! Design Studio South {AES} led the planning and design and with florals by A to Zinnias, there's really something special about this girly gathering!
From the team, "Alexis has been planning the perfect modern wedding in this city rich in history and now the final touch is to get her bride tribe in place. What better way than to celebrate with a Southern soirée bridal brunch, she thought!"
Full of liveliness and laughter and with a bright bold citrus color palette at play, everything about this styled shoot was just perfect! So let's take a look at how it all unfolded, shall we?
One of the standouts in this shoot is the chandelier install. What a beauty!
And the Ships of the Sea Maritime Museum proved to be the loveliest spot to bring this brunch brunch to life!
Calligraphy by the ever-so-talented, Lowcountry Paper Co. rentals really added something special...
And how creative is this cake backdrop with the open frames?
Savannah Special Events helped set the scene with their gorgeous collection of rental furniture.
And can we just pause for a moment to talk about these lush and lovely floral accents by A to Zinnias?
Holy swoon. We're loving the anemones and the addition of the kumquats.
Very light, and bright and celebratory too! The beautiful linens from Dot & Army and BBJ Linens added such a special touch to the tablescape.
...while the custom menu and cocktail books from the Wedding Story Writer added the wow factor to the celebration!
Outfits from and Jill Jill Stuart and with jewelry by Kendra Scott, really added to the overall feel.
Each of their outfits was styled to perfection and we're loving the bright, vivid colors they selected.
And with hair and makeup by Beyond Beautiful by Heather, let's just say these ladies were beyond lovely!
And this setup? Wow! It doesn't get anymore gorgeous than this. Are we right? Or are we right?
Cheers, m'dears! Grab a glass and join the party.
Because this fabulous group of ladies knows a good party when they see one.
So much love for their use of fruit. We think it adds a really fresh feel to this event design.
A closer look at the floral chandelier shows just how truly exquisite it was.
Seriously, you guys? This is the prettiest, most colorful wedding celebration. ever.
And we're simply so in love with how it all came together. And oh. my. goodness! We're just so in love with all of these pre-wedding celebrations we've been seeing here lately. Cheers to doing it up in a big way before the big day! Now excuse us, because we have some serious pinning to do. Care to join us?
