Romantic Regale Winery Wedding in the Santa Cruz Mountains
With gorgeous captures by Briana Calderon Photography and florals by Apis floral, today's real wedding is stuff that wedding dreams are made of, you guys. From this picturesque vineyard setting to this dreamy and very romantic ceremony and reception — no detail was left untouched.
From the bride, "As a little girl, like I'm sure a lot of other little girls, I've been dreaming of my wedding day since I can remember."
"I had details spinning around my head even before I met Brett, what the bridesmaid dresses would look like, what colors I would have."
So very elegant, so dreamy, so absolutely romantic!
"We loved everything about the venue. The beautiful grounds and scenery, the staff who worked there..."
"...the outdoor ceremony and dinner spaces, the bridal suite was to die for and of course we enjoyed their wine."
"The venue also had a Tuscan / Italian feel to it, so I wanted to make sure I kept that in mind as I went through the planning. Navy blue, white & grey would be the primary colors."
Catering by Cafe Primavera was both delicious and beautifully presented.
And in terms of the bridal beauty? Jewelry by Marchesa really added to the bride's romantic look.
And we love that the dresses came from Rent The Runway! One of our favorite places to shop online for weddings!
See how gorgeous everything was? The grounds! So absolutely stunning! This landscaping is seriously the prettiest, you guys!
And how adorable is this sweetheart table? Blooms by Apis floral really set the scene for romance.
"The winery was already beautiful, surrounded by mountains, flowers and greenery."
"I didn’t want my flowers and decor to take away from the venue at all. I kept it simple, and picked out a few flowers with important meaning for me."
"The Ivy leaf, Lilly of the Valley and Forget Me Not's, the three flowers of my sorority, Alpha Phi."
"The Anemone flower had also become a recent obsession of mine so that was in all the bouquet’s."
"As the sun set, we moved inside to the barrel room and danced the night away, well we left when the venue’s curfew set in but carried on at a local bar nearby to."
"I think my favorite part of the wedding day, besides marrying my best friend, had to be my wedding dress."
"The Maggie Sottero dress was an absolute stunner. It was different, elegant, just the right amount of sparkles and fit so well with the rest of my wedding details and vision and fit in perfectly with the venue."
Love the socks, love the favors, love this venue's gorgeous grounds!
Holy, pretty you guys! Our love for California weddings just keeps on getting stronger.
And how adorable are these two? Saying "I do," never looked so sweet!
Cheers to the newlyweds! Wishing you a lifetime of happiness!
Now excuse us, because now it's time to pin the pretty. Care to join us?
From the bride, "As a little girl, like I'm sure a lot of other little girls, I've been dreaming of my wedding day since I can remember."
"I had details spinning around my head even before I met Brett, what the bridesmaid dresses would look like, what colors I would have."
"But of course the two obvious big details... Who? And Where? On July 22nd 2015, in Sydney Australia, as the sun set Brett got down on one knee and asked me to marry him."
"Once we returned home and the realization of everything set in, the planner inside me was shrieking with joy!"
So very elegant, so dreamy, so absolutely romantic!
"Where? Was the first obvious detail to nail down. It was actually a tough one as no one place particularly stood out in either of our minds."
"Golf course? Winery? Mountains? Living in Northern California, luckily there are a lot of options and we did know a few things from the beginning…"
"Keeping it close to home and having an outdoor ceremony and dinner would be ideal."
"We looked at a total of 6 or 7 venues over a couple weekends. Once we walked into Regale Winery and Vineyards though, we both got that feeling. (This. Was. It).
"After we met with the wedding coordinator and got back in the car, Brett just said “This is it. Do we have to keep looking?"
"We loved everything about the venue. The beautiful grounds and scenery, the staff who worked there..."
"...the outdoor ceremony and dinner spaces, the bridal suite was to die for and of course we enjoyed their wine."
"Once we had the date and the venue locked down, it was time to come up with the "wedding theme" and my inspiration board. I wanted it to feel light, airy, romantic."
"The venue also had a Tuscan / Italian feel to it, so I wanted to make sure I kept that in mind as I went through the planning. Navy blue, white & grey would be the primary colors."
"Dusty blue, coral and mint green would be accents woven throughout our story."
"Brand consistency are actually really important to me as I am in event marketing, so I tried to keep everything as consistent as possible during the entire process."
"I wanted the whole year of our engagement activities to keep telling parts of our wedding story until the big day arrived and the entire story came together."
"For the ceremony - we kept it simple, elegant, and "us." We had long farm tables, with family style served dinner, it really felt like one big family eating and celebrating together."
