An Intimate Southern Mountainside Wedding

What happens when the sweetest couple says, "I do," surrounded by friends and family and all of the beauty of a natural mountain setting? Oh, you know - all kinds of lovely things! That's what! And with Melissa Durham Photography behind the lens? You know it's going to be good!

From the photographer, "Quinn and Joe's wedding day was so beautifully inspired, from the breathtaking views of green meadows and Cahas Mountain to Sundara's gorgeous location nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains and the vintage, yet simple peach and sage green details."

"Quinn wore a classic, A-line organza gown from Alfred Angelo adorned with a pearl and crystal embellishment at the waist."

"Quinn's "something borrowed" was her sister's cathedral length, lace-lined veil, which perfectly accompanied her gown..."

"...and the gorgeous nude flats that hid a sweet wedding day sentiment written by Joe."

"Her bouquet was filled with fragrant peach roses, succulents, Queen Anne's lace, dusty miller, and eucalyptus."

"Her bridesmaids wore a variety of delicate floor-length blush gowns and carried bouquets of peach and coral roses, dusty miller, and eucalyptus."

"The ceremony was perfectly timed, beginning just after a morning of spring showers."

"Sundara's gorgeous meadow, weeping willows, orchard, gardens, and glamping tent were just some of the picturesque spots that the bride and groom were able to sneak away for quiet moments."

"The reception tables in the elegant white reception tent were decorated with peach and sage green tablecloths and runners and centerpieces filled with the same fragrant peach roses..."

"...and dusty miller as the ladies' bouquets, with a mix of Queen Anne's lace and wild daisies that truly brought out the essence of new springtime wildflowers."

"Vintage mix-and-match place settings and simple candle votives were placed amongst the tables."

"The rest of the evening was full of celebratory moments and dancing with family and close friends."

The bride's dress by Alfred Angelo truly was a stunner, and she has Azario's Salon to thank for the lovely updo!

"Their romantic ceremony took place under one of Sundara's many enormous old trees, draped with long, flowing white sashes."

And these blush bridesmaid dresses really added a certain sweetness to the overall look.
From this sweet ceremony all the way to this rockin' party...
There's one thing that remained constant during this day. And that is the obvious love between Quinn and Joe.

Peachy tones mixed so effortlessly with these grayed jade tones.

And we simply can't get enough of this naked cake with roses and daisies on top. Wildflour Roanoke, such a beauty!

And of course, you know the bride had to wear her cowboy boots!

It's rustic elegance done oh-so right and there's no mistaking the excitement that was felt on this day.

Farm tables were adorned with vintage china, lots of greenery and a mix of coral and ivory linens.

And catering by Blue Ridge Catering, Inc. tasted as good as it looked!

And this bar, y'all? Wow! Now that's a swoon-worthy bar! Talk about a tented reception done beautifully? Yep, this is the prettiest.

For their first dance, Quinn and Joe relished the moments they had together for the first time as husband and wife.

But then? Then it was time to party! And what a celebration they had!

More from the photographer, "Quinn and Joe's wedding was such a beautifully put together, memorable celebration, and I still hear about how inspiring their wedding is to other couples!"

We told you this wedding was ultra sweet and pretty! Now excuse us because we have a date with pinterest. Care to join us?
