Rust Manor House. And lucky for us
TV Tran was there to capture every gorgeous moment!
From the event designer, "This peachy spring time shoot begins with a bride at her outdoor garden ceremony location. She showcases her romantic tulle gown while holding her spring organic bouquet filled with greenery and peach blooms."
"The Rust Manor House in Leesburg, Virginia is a beautiful historic mansion perfect for weddings and events. One of the main rooms of the mansion has a beautiful marble fireplace with a stunning gold framed mirror above it. When I saw these two elements, I knew the room would be the perfect setting for my peach, marble and gold vision."
"In the foyer, outside the dining room, are the dinner and bar menus written on marble, and there's also a special peach signature cocktail."
"The dining reception space is modern and elegant. The table details include clear Versailles chairs, hand lettered napkin bands with a peach Italian ranuculus, a simple Italian ruscus garland with fresh roses, marble chargers and gold accents."
"Similar flower details were carried to the marble fireplace as well. Lastly, in addition to the detailed 2 tier cake with peach flowers and marble accents, guests leave with perfectly marbled and gold macarons."
"Also, usually I specialize in making large, round and lush bouquets with little greenery, but for this shoot I wanted the bouquet to feel very organic, like I went into a garden and gathered all my favorite flowers and greenery and simply tied them together."
"My vision for the shoot was more on the modern side, and being that the mansion is historic with vintage charm, I had to blend the two styles together which is how the "Modern meets Vintage," theme came to be."
"Additionally, the mansion sits on beautiful grounds and has a garden, and I was inspired by that as well."
"I really wanted to infuse a garden element into the décor and floral by incorporating a good amount of greenery which is really popular this year and it compliments the numerous peach blooms well.
"I love how the stationery suite designed by Kim Small from with With Wild and Grace has so many layers and details including wax seals, peach print on the back, gold foil details, leather envelopes and marble vellum."
"Another special detail I wanted to incorporate throughout were marble accents. When coming up with the design plan I wrote down marble chargers, then I realized I had never seen marble charger plates outside of using regular marble tiles from a home improvement store."
"After many hours of research, I came across the
Gathered Table Supply in Canada. I immediately emailed them praying that they would ship their beautiful chargers to the U.S. and they did!"
"Not only did they send their amazing chargers, they also included their gold cutlery and bud vases that I requested to help tie the peach, gold and marble elements together."
"Marble was incorporated into the beautiful 2 -layer wedding cake, stationery suite, menu + bar sign and macarons as well."
"The bride goes to hang her beautiful tulle gown up and returns downstairs in a mermaid dress and updo, perfect for dancing."
"The marble macarons by Sweets by E were also amazing (plus delicious) and were a nice touch to compliment the marble and ruffle cake she also designed."
"Some of the more modern elements include the clear glass accents such as the candle hurricanes, glass vase seating chart and clear Versailles chairs."
"
Rebecca Tong did a great job hand lettering the glass vases and napkin bands which are both unique ways to help guests find their way to their seat."
"Lastly, gold was the perfect accent for the peach, grey and marble elements."
"
Fab Frocs DC allowed us to showcase two bridal looks with the "Olivia" by Theia Couture full tulle gown and the mermaid lace and tulle style dress provided great wedding inspiration."
"I felt the full tulle gown would be perfect outdoors and great inspiration for brides considering an outdoor garden ceremony and dress with a whimsical and romantic feel."
"Also, with a lot of brides considering two dress looks on their wedding day, the modern fit and flair mermaid gown is a great second gown option to change into for a reception indoors, with the hair pinned up and out of the way for dancing."
"As the bride makes her way back to the historic house to change for the reception, we see a glimpse of the modern glass vase escort display..."
"...as well as the welcome boxes that the guests received upon arrival to Virginia and the marble detailed invitation suite which all have peach accents."
More from the team, "The vendor team was simply amazing and creative. From the custom jewelry and hand lettered items to the hair and makeup, styling and perfectly curated welcome boxes, everyone came together creatively to produce a colorful, modern and unique garden inspired theme."
