Recently engaged and beginning to dream about your big day and all of the pretty possibilities? Oh my goodness! So much excitement ahead of you as you begin to prepare for your walk down the aisle! But perhaps you're feeling a bit overwhelmed. Not sure where to start?
Well, rest assured, m'dears! Because we here at The Perfect Palette know a thing or two about setting the scene for, "I do." It's what we specialize in, really! That's right! From the dresses, to the accessories
— all the way to your florals and decor! We love helping brides imagine the possibilities. Starting with color, of course!
Speaking of wedding colors — we recently teamed up with a dream team of Atlanta wedding pros to create four separate wedding day looks. All in different color palettes, of course! And our bridal party? They were wearing
David's Bridal from head to toe!
And lucky for us, Lauren Rae Photography was there to capture it all.
With event design and styling by The Perfect Palette and floral design by Stems Atlanta, make no mistake about it — this shoot was a total dream! And we're super exited to kick off this sweet series of ours by sharing the first of the four looks that we styled up at Tatum Acres!
Once we narrowed down our favorite dresses, we had David's Bridal send us the gowns complete with jewelry and accessories. Playing dress up has never been more fun!
Gorgeous blooms sourced from Blooms by the Box and with design by the ever-so-talented, Stems Atlanta really helped bring our looks to life! So 100% swoon-worthy if you ask us!
And then it was time to set the scene even further! So we called up some of our favorite Atlanta wedding pros including Presentime Rentals and Upcountry Camp.
...we set a date, and then it was time get our gorgeous on at Tatum Acres in Jasper, Georgia.
For our first set up, we imagined a gorgeous glamping reception. Picture a bohemian, natural setting complete with a trio of teepees, textures galore, and lush florals in a very casual setting.
We're so smitten with this lush greenery garland from Stems Atlanta. And how gorgeous are these doily appliqués that we're seeing throughout?
And who could resist this mix of gowns we had our ladies wear? We really tried to incorporate a variety of styles when it came to the bridal party's attire.
We paired this plunging lace halter gown (which had pockets by the way. I know, so cool!), with this off the shoulder crinkle bridesmaid dress in this ultra pretty wine color!
...and to switch things up, we had another one of our ladies wear this long bridesmaid dress with beaded straps. Those beaded sleeves are kind of everything.
To soften our look even further, we decided to mix in a really pretty soft lavender color.
The halter style is really fun and unexpected and it pairs so nicely with the other necklines as you can see here!
This halter style dress from David's Bridal was perfect for our bride-to-be!
The structured bodice gave it a very elegant feel and we really liked the lace overlay.
Hair and makeup was styled to perfection with natural makeup by B. Young Beauty Studio.
Plus can we just pause for a moment to appreciate this sweet silhouette?
As you can see, we took glamping to a whole other level with this awesome set up from Upcountry Camp, Presentime Rentals and The Prissy Plate Company.
We decorated the openings of the teepees with area rugs, gorgeous garlands, textured candles from 100 Candles, and plenty of pretty.
We styled this grey-blue dinnerware from Presentime Rentals with gorgeous glassware from The Prissy Plate Company.
And this wedding cake, you guys? Hello, gorgeous! Cake Envy totally outdid themselves with this beauty of a cake. Seriously! We're in love!
Everything was just so jaw-dropping on this day. And the wedding bouquet that Stems Atlanta whipped up is definitely on the top of our 'lovely list.'
The bridal bouquet consisted of Protea candida, Protea Banksia, Orange Ranunculus, Romantic Antike garden roses...
...Blushing Bride, Strawflower, Echeveria, Sahara rose, Orange cockscomb, Blue thistle, pale peach spray roses, lotus pod, burgundy feathers, baby blue eucalyptus, and silver dollar eucalyptus.
Right now, great wedding day style is often achieved by mixing and matching different colors and styles.
With this attire, you'll see lace accents, sparkly accents – like these beaded embellishments.
And you'll also notice a lot of soft a flowy fabrics with feminine details like soft draping or ruffles.
A Wedding Invitation Suite from Minted completed our vision and really added a personal touch.
But the standout for us? That would definitely be this dress! Ah, so super pretty if you ask us!
Don't miss next week's post to see the next look that we created at Tatum Acres! The style possibilities are endless, you guys! Huge hugs and high fives to the fabulously talented wedding team we had on this day! And a special thanks to David's Bridal for providing us with all of these fabulous dresses and accessories!
