Edgy and Modern Oxblood & Indigo
The inspiration for the shoot was the oxblood gown by Jill Stuart. Because not only is oxblood gorgeous, but also a hot trent right now. And it's one that Modernly Events and team styled to perfection! Captured beautifully by E Schmidt photography, just wait until you see the inspiration that this dream team whipped up on this day!
From the team, "We used modern vintage furniture mixed with the old world look of our location. We felt that in that way, it doesn't date itself and though hip, it also timeless."
The Spicer House at Heritage Park proved to be the loveliest locale to bring this beyond exquisite color palette to life.
And oh. my. goodness. Can we all just pause for a moment to appreciate the beauty that is this hair and makeup by Jill Sollars.
Stationery by Alisa Bobzien Wedding was so modern, and so full of whimsy.
And each envelope was beautifully adorned with calligraphy by MB Callgiraphy.
The table design consisted of a mix of indigo taper candles, black glassware, and edgy industrial style chairs.
Linens from and rentals from Event Theory helped bring the look together with ease.
Floral designer, Susan Mcleary of Passion Flower Events chose to create a bouquet without using greenery because last year was so full of greens, she wanted to create something new and different.
And this black wedding cake by Whisk and Crumb made the perfect statement, exuding moodiness, elegance, and sophistication.
