Beauty in Bloom at the Chapel Designers Workshop
Captured beautifully by Taken by Sarah, today we're given a sweet peek into the Chapel Designers Workshop. And wow. With a dream team led by Holly Heider Chapple Flowers including Oak and The Owl, The Southern Table and Urban Petals — let's just say wedding magic was created on this day. And the proof is in the pretty!
From Holly, "The color combination was inspired by my love for the roses from Ella Rose Farm my favorites being Distant Drum and KoKo Loko. When I'm teaching to my network of designers called the Chapel Designers, I always want to show new and interesting color themes and feature the finest and most unique blooms and colors."
"The backdrop for the ceremony shots we created at The Parlour Chapel were inspired by an installation I saw at my children's field day. Hoola hoops were used as a target for a nerf gun competition. As soon as I saw the installation I imagined it with flowers. Each student created one of the rings to bring the full installation to life."

From Sarah Collier, "floral ceremony backdrops are a trend we hope sticks around for good, and floral hoops have been making quite a scene this year as a wonderfully versatile way to incorporate interesting floral arrangements to your wedding decor."
Here are three tips from photographer Taken by Sarah. Advice for making a big impact with floral hoop arrangements:
1. Choose a location that will allow the hoops to stand out such as a large, blank indoor wall or a light colored backdrop like the beach. If your background is too cluttered or multi colored, the hoops can disappear and will not stand out as much. Consider having your florist use fabric draping behind the installation if using it in a natural setting. Examples of this installation against a backdrop and without it can be seen below.

2. Whether you like lots of greenery or a simpler, more flower heavy approach, floral hoops can be designed in a variety of ways to match your aesthetic. They make fantastic bouquets as well as backdrops!
3. Skip the DIY on this trend. The mechanics of seamlessly and beautifully installing floral hoops at your wedding can be a bit tricky, so find a talented florist to help you pull off this amazing trend your guests won't be able to stop talking about.
