A Tuscan-Inspired Summer Fête in Wisconsin
Molly Jo Collection at Kassandra and Matt's wedding, we kept reminding ourselves that this fabulous day was in the upper half of the US and not Tuscany.
It's amazing how Elevate Events transformed Kassandra and Matt's Wisconsin venue, with rustic wood design and the most bliss-inducing ivory blooms and greenery from Generations Wedding Flowers & Photography. We are head over heels with this midwest wedding!
From the bride, "We truly wanted to capture the essence of romance. Matt and I have such a strong bond, both between us and with our respective families, we really wanted to make the day feel like an intimate affair."
"For the bridesmaid dresses I chose a very light Tuscany blue that looked so romantic (especially in the wind that day!)."
"Each of my bridesmaids picked her own style of dress to make their look even more natural, and my husband loved the idea of keeping with that theme by putting the men in navy suits with a gray tie."
"When looking for a venue it was important for us to find a place that had meaning for both Matt and I and our families. We both grew up here and this is where our story started."
"In order to capture the romance we didn't want a brand new wedding venue. We wanted somewhere that was a place full of memories of love and family."
"We chose a private, secluded camp as our main space, worked with our designers to incorporate comfortable and rustic, yet elegant furnishings and rentals, and a soft color palette to let nature (and our love) be in the forefront."
"The sunset over the pond and rustic wooden structures complimented our goal of romance SO well. We wanted the natural greenery and beautiful summer floral to stand out as well. When it all came together it looked as though we were in a faraway land that was made for us and captured our ever-growing romance perfectly."
"On top of the romantic vibe we hoped to achieve, we also wanted to make our guests feel as though they had been transported to a romantic location outside of their everyday life."
"I wanted a huge sailcloth tent, able to envelope all of our guests in the feeling of the day, elegant French wooden chairs, luxurious greenery and floral, and gold and silver accents and hand-lettered signs and menus that provided an elevated experience."
"From the sailcloth, I also tied the hand lettering into the canvas bar signs. We included our dog, Benson, in the ceremony and even had a floral collar made for him to wear. He was such a trooper and was certainly the star of the show!"
