Intimate Late Summer Sonoma Wedding at Chateau St. Jean
Kreate Photography, today's real wedding with planning by Alicia K Designs and florals by Charlotte & Daughters — well, let's just say, it's a total must-see!
As for the proposal? Ben proposed when he and Paige were traveling in Iceland. They were exploring some of the natural sites, and while Paige was standing on top of a crevice in the earth where the Northern and European tectonic plates meet, Ben got down on one knee.
Needless to say — she said, "Yes!" and they immediately found a gas station to buy a bottle of champagne to begin celebrating. That night, they stayed in the middle of nowhere and watched the Northern Lights dance and move across the sky. So very romantic! And their wedding day at Chateau St. Jean was equally dreamy.
The invitation suite by Bella Figura looked so gorgeous and we're just loving the calligraphy from Southern Calligraphy.
From Kreate Photography, "Their vision for the wedding was, 'natural elegance with an urban edge.' They wanted it to feel modern yet timeless at the same time, and it turned out absolutely incredible!"
The lounge seating, blankets, welcome sign and welcome kits for guests were just a few of the thoughtful details that made Paige and Ben's wedding so memorable.
Their color palette combined blues and greens in the form of silver, olive, and sage, with blush, crème and a touches of marsala.
Charlotte & Daughters put together gorgeous, eclectic florals and installations using garden roses, dahlias, ranunculus, astrantia, jasmine vines, olive greens, and seeded eucalyptus.
In addition, there was a cigar bar, coffee favors, an amazing escort card display, lawn games and even flower petal cones for tossing post-ceremony!
A beautiful 5-tier cake designed by Michele’s Corner Wedding Cakes was so full of texture and beauty.
Bellarosa String Quartet serenaded the guests as the Tomales Bay Oyster girls shucked oysters amongst the crowd during cocktail hour, followed by a formal 3-course dinner by Park Avenue Catering (a wine country favorite).

As the sun began to creep towards the ridge, we went out to the vineyards for golden hour. These two are so in love and capturing their relationship was so special. The entire day was filled with laughter and happy tears.
So many thoughtful details were woven into every element of the wedding, which made it feel intimate and personal.
