Katie and Mike's Antique Store Wedding with Urban Vibes
Caitlin Lisa Photography, their big day is infused with neutral design elements stemming from their antique store event venue (how cool is that?) to the simple and organic florals from Natural Beauties Floral Inc.
Katie and Mike are beer fanatics, so growlers and bottles as part of the decor were a creative way to incorporate their hobbies. It's always a plus for us to see a bride and groom use their interests and loves as a way to make their wedding day all their own!
From the team, "The bride, Katie, manages the Chicago-based stationery store All She Wrote. The couple also loves beer, and the wedding party went to a brewery to hang out during their photos, which was so different and fun. It definitely added a laid back vibe to the entire day. They also incorporated growlers into their centerpieces and seating chart."
From the bride, "We wanted a romantic, organic and simple evening to celebrate with friends and family. We tried to keep things on the simple side so our favorite elements could really shine through. Salvage One has a beautiful mix of wood & reclaimed goods so we kept to a neutral color palette and lots of greenery!"
"The paper goods were (obviously) one of my favorites & Mike was pumped that we had a moment to enjoy a beer at On Tour Brewery before saying "I Do"."
"We fell in love with Salvage One and their event space immediately. The mismatched tables & chairs, the chandeliers, we could go on and on! Between our bride & groom suites, the reclaimed wooden pews in the "chapel" and the ivy covered courtyard it was the perfect backdrop for our celebration."
