Color Me With Love in this Industrial Wedding Shoot
Calling all color-lovers! If you have a love for bright and bold palettes, then you're going to absolutely adore this styled wedding from Sara Elizabeth Weddings and Lavish Floral Design. Captured beautifully by McDonald Video & Photography and Stark's Studios, consider this your daily dose of color!
Just one look and we think you'll see that the ballroom's dimmed, moody setting presented the perfect opportunity to bring in endless color, with lively décor, illuminating candlelight, and shimmery gold touches.
From Sara Elizabeth Weddings, "Dick Brothers Brewery is not only a historic landmark, but it is also the newest event venue in Quincy, Illinois. When given the chance to produce a styled shoot, in the new venue, my vision was all about different colors, patterns, and textures."
"I wanted to add elegance and adventure into the already industrial venue. The wood beams and brick walls were a dreamy pair, making for an abundance of design features and textures."
Invited by LamaWorks crafted the most stunning paper pretties! From the invitation itself to the menu and name card - It was all perfection, you guys!
"The canvas was embellished by the untraditional chandelier suspended from above. The brewery’s tall ceilings are any designers dream, and I wanted to emphasize the wood beams as a focal point to the tablescape."
"It was important that the place setting resembled my initial goal. My planned design then became reality; there were textures, patterns, and colors galore."
"From the black grated charger where the soft blue tablecloth poked through, pink piped white linen, differing blue and white salad plate at each place setting to the glossy black sherbet cup layered with a deconstructed clementine and petite flora."
"The cut crystal glasses and watercolor floral name cards and the menu only added another level of texture and elegance to the design."
"This day was rounded out by crème brulee and a cake made by HyVee. Plus colorful cocktails, adorned with floral ice cubes and berries.
"The bride wore a traditional flowy full white skirt paired with an edgy black lace on top. Her groom wore a perfectly tailored navy suit that balanced well with the color scheme and overall feel of the shoot. Their energy radiated through as pure love and beauty."
More from Sara Elizabeth Weddings, "An amazing collaborative team brought my ideas to life and helped to emphasize each individual design aspect. Lavish Floral Design, created a stunning feminine palette of floral arrangements, producing an atmosphere of elegance and color."
Don't miss this gorgeous inside look at how this beautiful shoot came to life! The moments captured by Stark's Studios are absolutely unreal!
