Alexis + Adam's Tatum Acres Wedding in Jasper Georgia
Captured beautifully by Nicole Flores Photography, today's real wedding at Tatum Acres was such a beautiful one! Having met in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, Alexis and Adam became close friends in college. Next thing they knew, one thing led to another and they were going on vacations, hanging out outside of work, and talking to each other 24/7.
Ivy Marie Weddings took care of the planning their day while our team here at The Perfect Palette helped to design and bring their vision to life. Florals from Stems Atlanta were beyond beautiful while place settings from The Prissy Plate Company added that wow factor!
When asked to describe their day. They had this to say, "Perfect. That is the word that would describe it. Everything was exactly how I imagined it."
In terms of traditions, the bride wore her great grandmother's wedding ring. It was something her sister also wore on her big day. How sweet and sentimental is that?
The colors consisted of shades of blue, pops of gold, greenery, and white. And the vibe? Elegant all the way! Very classy and romantic.
From the bride, "Adam and I also met behind closed doors (without seeing each other) and shared a moment. We read letters we wrote to each other while holding hands and Adam led us in prayer."
"It's definitely something I recommend anyone getting married who doesn't want to do a first look. It made us feel so much more comfortable when the time came to walk down the aisle."
A classic cake designed by Cake Envy was sitting pretty on this beautiful cake swing! Yes, a cake swing!
Tableware from The Prissy Plate Company included plates, chargers glassware, flatware, and coordinating napkins.
Calligraphy by Along the Lines added so much elegance to this seating chart.
After their ceremony, there was a heart in the sky. The couple shared that they felt "It was as if God was smiling down on our wedding. We also had a full moon, as well as a blood moon. It was a pretty cool night!"
When asked what her favorite part of the day was the bride had this to say, "The whole day was my favorite! I enjoyed sharing laughs with my girls in the morning getting ready...I loved mine and Adam's wedding letter exchange... I loved seeing his face and the happiness in his eyes as I walked down the aisle ...and I loved dancing the night away with our close family and friends."
And the groom's reply: "Laying my eyes on Alexis for the first time as my beautiful wife." Oh. my. goodness! Can this wedding get any sweet? We think not.
