A San Juan Capistrano California Wedding
Captured beautifully by Katie Jackson Photography, today's California wedding is one for the books! Jillian and Brian were introduced through family and to say that sparks flew immediately would be an understatement.
They dated for over a year, but everyone knew they were meant for each other. Brian proposed to Jillian on a family trip to Ireland on the Cliffs of Moher, overlooking the North Atlantic. To surprise her, Brian set up a camera to take a still photo, except unbeknownst to Jillian he pressed record and got down on one knee and proposed.
They decided to get married in San Juan Capistrano known for its Old California charm and California Mission influences. The ceremony took place at Serra Plaza, and portraits were taken at the San Juan Capistrano Mission, just a few blocks away.
The event was filled with heartfelt touches that include, a wedding topper that was used on Jillian's grandparent's wedding cake over 70 years ago.

Florals from Los Angeles Floral Couture were some of the prettiest we've ever seen and details were planned to perfection thanks to Klink Events. Be on the lookout for a gorgeous cake from Grace and Honey Cakes, a stunning outdoor wedding ceremony complete with chandeliers hanging from the trees, and a reception that could only be described as swoon-worthy!
Jillian surprised Brian with cufflinks that had photos of Brian and his mother who had passed away a few years prior.
Place cards included keys to "unlock" an evening of fun and celebration. And the cutest flower girl and ring bearer you can imagine.
A collection of family photos were displayed alongside delicate paper flowers by Paperflora.
